Celebrate the 87th Annual Edison Festival of Light, a cherished Southwest Florida tradition celebrating the life and legacy of Thomas Edison. This iconic event brings the community together for a series of fun-filled activities, showcasing the spirit of innovation, creativity, and community. The festivities kick off on February 1 and commence with Grand Parade of Light on February 15.

Festival Highlights:
- 2/8 – STEMtastic Day of Discovery at Caloosa Sound Convention Center.
- 2/9 – Junior Fun Run: A family-friendly race for the kids.
- 2/14 – 5K Packet Pick Up: Runners can pick up their run packets from 4-6PM at Chips Sports Pub.
- 2/15 – 5K Run: Over 1,400 participants and thousands of spectators take over the streets of the Downtown River District.
- Grand Parade of Light: A dazzling parade featuring illuminated floats, marching bands, and creative performances.
